About The Winery

Founded in 1976 by Brian Croser, Petaluma is renowned for sourcing each grape from the South Australian region best suited to its varietal expression. Today, winemaker Andrew Hardy remains faithful to this terroir-focused philosophy, crafting wines of elegance and regional depth that stand the test of time.

Tasting Notes

Petaluma White Label Shiraz is a medium-bodied, vibrant expression drawing on both Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra fruit. Expect bright red berry aromas—think raspberry and blackberry—with a subtle whisper of milk chocolate. On the palate, the wine delivers supple, fine-grain tannins, aniseed complexity, peppery spice, and classic Coonawarra earthiness. It’s simultaneously lively, smooth, and long on flavour.
